Sustainability

Packaging:

For the last 25 years we have only used readily compostable packaging on all our packed produce. Organic fruit and veg packed by us is never packed in plastic, we only use paper or bags made with readily biodegradable starches.

Refills:

We started providing a refill service on many household cleaners years before companies such as Ecover, Bio D or Eco Leaf encouraged it. By doing this we will save at least 40 plastic containers a week not needing to be produced. This allows us to pass on these savings in lower prices as well, to those who bring their containers to be refilled.

How about all those containers cluttering up my bathroom?

Rest easy in your bath. Refills for shampoo, hair conditioner, hand soap and shower gel are on tap.

Drizzle and glug with a clear conscience.

Spanish Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is also available as a refill, so savings in glass and money to be enjoyed.

Dry Produce.

Wholemeal, white, and Spelt Organic Italian pastas can be bought using your own containers or our paper bags. All items from our comprehensive range of organically produced pulses, rice, nuts, seeds, grains and fruits are available likewise.
